relax + fold nominated for German Design Award

The design award is Germany´s official decoration for design. It is the German Federal Ministry for economic affairs´ central measure to promote design. It will be awarded to outstanding designed manufactures in the range of product and communication design.

The award cannot be applied for; the companies are nominated by the ministry of economics and the senators.

No other design award has such tight criteria. Because of that it is known as the “award of awards” by several opinion leaders.
